I am a former Middle School math teacher for the New York City board of Education. In addition to middle school pre-algebra, I have experience tutoring Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-calc and ACT/SAT math. I can also help with general study skills in any subject and help with organizational skills.

I am a former Middle School math teacher for the New York City board of Education. I also have a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. I have previous tutoring experience in math and high school physics and have also taught with an SAT prep organization. I can help with homework, teach subjects independent from schoolwork, create and bring supplemental worksheets, etc. Whatever your need, I will do what I can to help. A little more information on my tutoring style: I usually would ask the student to explain what they understand about the topic. I find that sometimes having them teach it to me will help them understand it better. It will also give me an idea of how it was taught to them, and if there is any misconceptions, I can teach it in a different way. I will gladly help with any homework assignments with the understanding that they have already been attempted before our session. I will always bring a few practice problems with if help with homework is not needed. If requested, I can leave supplemental practice assignments and go over them at at the following session.
